Student Learning Assessment for the Bachelor in Business administration
Intented Student Learning Outcomes fos the Bachelor in Business administration:
Graduates of bachelor degree programs in business should be able to demonstrate that they have:
1. An understanding of the functional areas of accounting, marketing, finance, management, and economics.
2. An understanding of the legal and social environment of business.
 
3. An understanding of the global environment of business.
 
4. An understanding of the ethical obligations and responsibilities of business.
5. The ability to use business tools.
 
6. The ability to demonstrate information literacy.
 
7. The ability to communicate effectively.
 
8.  The ability to apply knowledge of business concepts and functions in an integrated manner.

Performace Targets/Criteria for direct Measures
1. Development of a case about a real company in Guatemala
All students for a BBA will score at least 70% on the final presentation of the real case
2. Final average grade
The final average grade has to be at least 75 in order to get the BBA degree.

Surveys, dealing with current students’ perception of their own learning
On the exit survey instrument, at least of 80% of graduating seniors will indicate that they were successful in achieving the intented learning outcomesfo the BBA degree
Surveys alumni’s perception of their own learning or of their current career satisfaction 
On the survey instrument, at least 80% of Alumni will indicate that their learning in the BBA equipped them very well for their current employment

ESI’s mission is to contribute to the well-being and the development of the countries of Central America in
which it operates through the formation and integral development of leaders globally responsible and inspired
by principles and values and that preparation and permanent self improvement   become an instrument of
accomplishments and a means for generating sustainable value for businesses and a tie for communities in
which these develop.
ESI is also a unit of strategic entailment at international level in the scopes of teaching, according to the areas
of knowledge the programs offer.
